My Current Go-To Winter Beauty Products

We are officially in lockdown (again) this week, and with the winter weather officially here, it means we will be spending a lot more time at home.

With that being said, we can all agree that the winter weather creates so much dryness in the air, so there is no denying that my hair and skin are in need of some serious TLC at the moment.

I recently stocked up on some favourites over at beautysense.ca where they have some of my go-to products from brands like Vivier, Skinceuticals, Esthederm, and more.

I’ve been trying to be conscious this time of year as well and the fact that shopping on beautysense means that you can shop a Canadian-owned retailer, makes it that much better. The Montreal-based retailer also operates successful spas and salons in Canada, so you know you are always getting – literal salon and spa quality products.

I’ve conveniently shared my treatments with Skinceuticals not long ago, but here are some products that I’m loving right now.

SkinCeuticals Emollience

Skinceuticals is my one of my holy grail brands, and this moisturizer has become an essential for the harsher weather. Lately, I’ve been using a facial steamer and finishing off with serum and the Skinceuticals Emollience. The combination brings so much hydration to my skin and the moisturizer is rich but lightweight so my skin doesn’t feel congested.

Esthederm Intensive Propolis+ Kaolin Purifying Mask

Since wearing a mask, I’ve realized how important it is for me to thoroughly cleanse my skin and pores, so this mask from Esthederm has been great for my skin. I was having so much congestion in my skin and the mask wasn’t helping, so using it a few times a week off and on has allowed my skin to clear up over time. I also don’t wear makeup at all on days that I don’t have to and have been drinking water like a fish, and it’s helped my pores!

Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray

Hair in the winter – am I right? My hair used to get so lifeless in the winter and because of the dry air and static, I used to just want my hair pulled back. The Oribe became a lifesaver during the winter months. After styling my hair, I add oil to the ends and work my way up, and then spray the Oribe throughout to still get the body I desired. It offers a tacky – like texture to help keep your hair in place. It’s also great for a messy pony or braid!

Have you tried any of these amazing products? Don’t forget to visit Beautysense for all of your beauty needs!
